Privacy notice

Steadhand Advisory is the data controller for the personal data you send us through this website. This notice explains, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, how we handle it.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, organisation, work email address and whatever you choose to tell us about your programme.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to manage that engagement. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or share them with third parties except where the law requires it.

Lawful basis

Our lawful basis is legitimate interest: responding to an enquiry you have sent us.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for up to six years afterwards, to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time for a copy of the data we hold about you, for it to be corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
